I started in October with trying a mini photo session of my kids in downtown Rochester, after lots of tears by my six year old and a collaboration of outfits I hated I ended up trashing those images. The following week the kids were all dressed nice and I put them in the backyard for a second attempt. I failed. Kids were crying and crawling in every direction, and Steve was ready to explode. So yet a few more days later we were blessed with a warm day and I decided to take my three children, by myself, to an old barn with hopes that I would finally get that Christmas card shot. I captured one with all three looking. Still not satisfied I decided to put them in a controlled enviroment and we went down into the studio. Finally we all succeeded! Tyler was in a great mood and helped with the babes, Derek stood still for at least 2.2 seconds and Brooke was just content being in her pretty dress. So here is our family holiday card… and a few bloopers!
