Whimsical Thoughts

I hope everyone had a fab weekend!  On Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending the Whimsical Occasions (WO) Bridal Show at Meadowbook Hall to shoot some images for the show’s website.  Bridal shows are a great resource for brides-to-be and W.O. does a fabulous job of putting on a top-nothch event. There were models adorning gowns from Bella Sposa, great guys from Mike Staff and JD Entertainment, plus a whole lineup of vendors specializing in linens, makeup, lighting, reception venues and of course photographers!
When Steve and I were planning our wedding I always thought… “oh I already know everything and have everything, I don’t need to attend a bridal show”… but now looking back… boy was I was missing out!  Being a vendor and attending a lot of shows throughout the last few years I have really been amazing at the ideas brides can walk away with.  From the latest in bridal fashion, to cake tastings, to table settings graced with gorgeous flowers… this is the place to be on a Sunday afternoon… plus they are always giving away amazing prizes! 

The next time you’ve got a few hours on a Sunday stop by a show, try some cake, dance with a dj and let your imagination go wild!  Don’t forget your address labels or pre-print labels with your name, wedding date, reception venue, email address and phone number. It will save your hand from cramping as you write out all those prize entry forms
